Shipping Policy:
To ensure you receive the best possible price, Griffin's Toy Chest offers shipping via the United States Postal Service & United Parcel Service to all 50 domestic states. Please note, at this time we offer shipping to the United States & Canada only.
Our Most Popular shipping methods are UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail Service. The following map is provided by UPS and outlines the delivery time in business days to each region from our store in Fairlawn, OH.
Orders ship same day or next day mail Sunday - Friday ( 4.PM EST ). Any order received after 4 P.M EST on Friday or on Saturday, will ship Monday.
*Special Note: Griffin's Toy Chest uses real time shipping rates from the USPS and UPS to calculate shipping charges by the weight of your cart items only and NOT size of shipping box. In very rare instances, the actual cost pertaining to USPS Priority mail in particular, far exceeds the cost that you the customer were charged. Our experience has been this generally only happens with customers on the west coast who have purchased particularly large/heavy games. Technically speaking, the relates to the USPS policy of zoning areas and assigning different costs based on package dimensions should the destination be greater than 1500 miles from the origin of Fairlawn, OH.
Should this rare event occur, we reserve the right to change the shipping method to UPS Ground service. We will make every effort to contact you in advance of your item shipping to notify you of the change and ask your approval. Please, whenever possible, provide a telephone number with your order as we will both call and email should this happen. You will not however be charged any more for the change in service and USPS Priority Mail will never be downgraded to USPS Parcel Post. This would only occur if the actual cost to ship your item was $10.00 or greater than the cost paid by you the customer. Again, this is a rare event but worthwhile to mention!
Should you select UPS Ground service as the delivery method, please indicate in the customer notes whether you would like the package delivered with or without a signature. The default will always be 'without a signature' as UPS, if instructed to acquire a signature, will make an attempt to deliver your item 3 times. If they are unsuccessful in getting a delivery signature from anyone at your home, they will hold your package at their facility for 5 days and after-which, will be returned to the store. If you required a delivery signature and were unable to sign for the items during UPS's delivery attempts and unable to pick it up at their facility, you will have your full purchase price refunded minus shipping costs. This has never happened before but is extremely worthwhile to mention!
